Meet the Leadership Team
Minister - Revd Andy Fitchet
Andy was raised in Andover after his family settled here with the Army. He was brought up in a normal, single-parent family on a local council estate.

Before training for Ministry, Andy was a youth worker, chef, and a gardener. He served as a Local Councillor in Andover for nearly 10 years and stood to become Andover's MP in 2017. He trained as a Baptist Minister in 2013 at Regents Park College, Oxford alongside reviving a dwindling 362-year-old Baptist church in Whitchurch, Hampshire.
He is an authorised presbyter in the Methodist church and since September 2019 he has been the Minister with the pastoral church of Andover.

Andy has one son who is at a local primary school.
The Stewards
Methodist Churches appoint Stewards to service the congregation alongside the minister. They are responsible in facilitating worship and having an oversight role within the local church.

Our current Stewards are Jude, Helen and, Malcolm.

Stewards are appointed annually by the annual church meeting alongside the other hugely valuable roles within the church overseeing areas of safeguarding, pastoral care, small groups, our redevelopment project and others.
